"a new nothing" Collaboration with Isabella de Maddalena

I've recently joined "a new nothing," a collaborative project that provides space for pairs of photographers to have conversations through images. I'm very happy to be working with Isabella de Maddalena, a friend of mine based in Milan, and our conversation is just getting started.

The books in our first images are by Alberto Savinio, a lesser-known metaphysical Italian author, artist, and composer, who was a favorite of Isabella's father, and whose stories I translated for my undergraduate degree in Italian. Isabella's image is the diptych on the right, and my response is on the left above. Please follow along!
