I recently participated in Round 7 of Shoebox PR's "Call and Response: Collaboration at a Distance" project, which randomly pairs participating artists to collaborate during the pandemic. Each artist has 24 hours to create a work in any medium, responding to the last image they received from their partner. The conversation continues for two weeks before being exhibited online, with a virtual exhibition opening and artist talk. I was paired with Susan Joseph, an artist in New Mexico. Above are the first two pieces created in this conversation.
